Urban Fantasy - Some of My Favorite Covers

I noticed an odd coincidence the other day. Some of my favorite UF series share a cover illustrator - Chris McGrath. I have to wonder though if it says more about my taste in cover art than in authors? Is there a deeper correlation? I may try reading some of the other books with cover art by Chris McGrath to see if I like them too. Do you have a favorite cover artist? Is there a type of cover that appeals to you?


The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher

Presently there are 12 published books in the series:













Ghost Story, the 13th book in the series, will be published in March 2011.



The Greywalker series by Kat Richardson

The Cal Leandros series by Rob Thurman






Blackout, Book 6, is slated for publication in March 2011.

    Chris is my fav too!! Not wild about his Butcher covers
    but love his covers for the Black London series..

    I love Dan Dos Santos who does the Mercy Thompson and Alpha/Omega series by Patricia Briggs and a whole bunch of others. The Greywalker covers are gorgeous!
