Barnes & Noble Concludes Three-Month-Long Celebration of The LEGO® Batman Movie on March 11

Final Event to Feature Fun Activities for Children Ages 5+ Including Building The LEGO® Batman Movie Batmobile “Speedwagon” and a Giveaway of Collectible Character Trading Cards Featuring DC Super Heroes and Super Villains

New York, New York – March 6, 2017 – Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS), the nation’s largest retail bookseller and a leading retailer of content, digital media and educational products, today announced, in partnership with Warner Bros. and The LEGO Group, an exciting in-store building event that will take place at stores nationwide on Saturday, March 11. This will conclude Barnes & Noble’s three-month-long celebration of the animated adventure The LEGO® Batman Movie, a worldwide hit which has so far surpassed $225 million at the box office.

The March 11 event will feature fun activities for children ages 5+ including a LEGO Make & Take event, where fans can build the iconic Batmobile “Speedwagon” from The LEGO Batman Movie to take home. Attendees can also collect the final two limited-edition Barnes & Noble Exclusive character trading cards from a series of six, and those who attended the previous two events on January 28 and February 25 will be able to put the complete set of trading cards together to create a memorable scene inspired by the movie.

Specific times for the March 11 event will vary by store. Space and materials are limited, so customers are encouraged to make their plans to share in the movie’s action and adventure, while supplies last.
